first night of oppressive nature

I guess I exaggerated too much last night. It wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be...

So I woke up this morning in a pretty bad shape. Then I slept again and woke up 3 hours later. After brushing my teeth normally for the last time, I went to the dentist place with Uncle Aza...

For some odd reason that I still cannot comprehend, I had to [insert vulgarities here] wait 45 minutes for the dentist. Now I came 5 minutes early, so I was expecting to wait just a little over 15 minutes but three quarters of an hour is absurd. If it wasn't for Bradbury and Orwell, I would have stormed the reception counter several times in anticipation for my turn. It seriously did not make sense. People who came later than me were served first even though they did not have an appointment while people like me who had an appointment were served later. OMG.

When I finally got in, I settled myself and had my teeth cleaned. Prior to this visit, I had two teeth pulled out to make way for the braces (not four, but two, because I'm awesome like that, just kidding). When the dentist did all kinds of things to my teeth, I kept convincing myself that the worst was yet to come. She promised me 30-40 mionutes, but the entire appointment only occurred in 15 minutes. I did not even know that I was done until she told me to pick a colour for my braces. Then I felt around and actually noticed that there were really metals on my teeth. So much for being an aware person.

The rest of the day passed by like a haze for me. Lunch at KLGCC's Japanese Restaurant was a little sad but enjoyable nevertheless as I had chicken porridge, tamago, two servings of chawan mushi and black sesame ice cream. Dinner was buffet, so I pampered myself with soft (really soft) pieces of fish and butter rice. It was still painful to eat, but one must satisfy his/her needs eh?

P/S: As I wrote earlier, I am still alive and reading what I read yesterday, I have discovered that I do tend to over react, but sometimes reacting to something is better than bottling everything inside you. Don't you think? ;)
