Unrequited Love- Chapter 4 Party
After a very short week, it’s finally Saturday. The day Jennifer was having her party. HJ and Cody came to Zach’s house first as they wanted to go together. Zach wanted to give Jennifer a necklace so he put some stationery into a plastic bag along with the necklace. On the stationery he wrote: From HJ and Cody. On the box that he put the necklace he wrote: From your bf, Zach.
They reached there at 4p.m. They were the first few that arrived at Jennifer’s house. Cheryl came soon after they came. While Cheryl, HJ and Cody were watching TV, Jennifer was preparing drinks for them with Zach’s help. They talked freely while preparing the drinks, it was almost like they were real couples together. They both felt very happy.
Their friends arrived soon after. They watched a movie called “Just follow Law”. It was hilarious. Especially because the main actor is Singapore’s Phuah Chu Kang! Many of the girls sat around the cute HJ. He must have felt really happy. Cody felt really jealous.
Next, they played badminton. Since Jennifer’s house didn’t have a proper badminton court, they played on the very dangerous road. Luckily, it was a Sunday, so there weren’t many cars. In the end, HJ and YH won the game.
After that, they played water balloons. Everyone was throwing water balloons at each other. The girls owned the guys as the guys were outnumbered. The guys were wet than the girls.
After everyone changed their clothes, they ate dinner. Dinner was really simple yet delicious. As there was much food, everyone had to carry food out from the kitchen to the dining table. Zach and Cody carried the heavy food and drinks.
While eating, they watched another movie called “High School Musical 2”. As everyone felt that it was boring, they didn’t watch the whole movie. Instead, they played the famous card game called “Big 2”. As they bet secretly, many people lost their money. However, the amount they lost was at most RM8.
At 9pm, they played a game called “Ghost”. It was a new game the girls made up. It must be played in darkness. The rule is to catch someone while you are blindfolded. After you caught someone, you have to say their name. If their name is correct, then he/she becomes the “catcher”. If their name is wrong, then the game continues.
It was really fun playing “Ghost”. As HJ was shorter than some of the girls, he often got squished by them. It was really loud too, as some of the girls screamed when they got caught. Luckily the neighbours didn’t come to complain.
After Jennifer gave everyone their party packer, the boys left. Before leaving, Zach gave Jennifer the plastic bag that he put all the gifts for Jennifer. As the boys were walking out of the house, the boys could hear the girls screaming loudly.
“What happened?” HJ and Cody asked Zach in unison.
“No idea.” Zach replied happily. He knew the reason and the reason was worth the screaming. Needless to say, it was the necklace that he gave Jennifer.
HJ and Cody stayed over at Zach’s house that night. After Zach turned off his house security alarm secretly, the three of them played Maple Story together. They did Party Quests together. At 1a.m. they went to sleep.
Exactly a week after Jennifer’s party, it was Zach’s turn to have a party. Zach invited more boys and fewer girls. The boys planned everything well and hopefully, better than Jennifer’s party. However, it was going to be the last party Zach would ever think of celebrating. Readers would you like to know why? Read on to find out!
