Unrequited Love- Chapter 3 Freedom!


“OK students, the time for the English paper is up. Do not touch your test papers again. After I have collected your test papers, you must stay in your seats until I leave the exam hall.” The invigilator said.


“FREEDOM!” An examinee shouted as the invigilator left the room. Everyone hurriedly left the exam room. Everyone was excited because their final test paper for this year is over. There wouldn’t be anymore exams until they go to secondary school.


“The heavy burden on our shoulders is finally lifted.” Zach said to Cody. Zach and Cody took the UPSR exam in the same room.
“Yeah. Now the time for us to enjoy our final year of primary school and play to the fullest is finally here!” Cody replied happily.


Their friends soon caught up with them. They met in the old canteen. Everyone looked happier than a month ago.
“Hey Andrew, let’s compete. Whoever that reaches Level 70 first will get 1 million Mesos from the loser. OK?” Zach asked Andrew.
“OK. Don’t regret it!” Andrew replied.
“Everyone, this Saturday is Jennifer’s party. Who wants to come with HJ and me to her house?” Cody asked cheerfully.
“I will come.” Zach replied gladly.
“Edrick and I can’t go. We have a camp to go on Saturday.” Andrew said sadly.
“OK then. See you all then. Bye!” Cody said and left.

“Have you prepared everything for the party yet?” SY asked Jennifer. Jennifer and her friends were in the new canteen having lunch together.
“Yeah, but I think I might need some help for the party…” Jennifer said.
“I will come at 1.30p.m. So I can help you.” Cheryl said while smiling.
“Thanks then. But the party only starts at 4.00p.m.”
“That doesn’t really matter.”
“OK. Well, my car is here. I better go. Bye!” Jennifer said and left.


Cody was walking to his car while reading his favourite book ‘Las Notches’. Jennifer was reading the invitation cards that she was about to give to the boys. Suddenly, they accidentally knocked into each other. Jennifer accidentally hugged Cody. Some of her books and invitation cards were scattered on the floor. When Jennifer noticed this, she immediately pushed Cody away.
“Sorry! I didn’t see you were coming.” Cody said while picking up her books from the floor. He saw some pink colour cards.
“What’s this?” He asked Jennifer.
“Oh, that’s the invitation cards that I’m going to give you boys for this Saturday’s party at my house. Since you’re here, could you take one invitation card* for yourself and give the others to your friends?”
“OK, sure. Well, see you tomorrow then! Bye.” Cody said cheerfully and left.
‘Cody’s body felt so warm A bit thin, but he has strong and powerful arms, bumping against his boney frame is quite painful. His body was a bit thin, but a broad, warm. Don’t know when, I started to feel blissful.’ Jennifer thought. ‘I wonder if Zach’s body is the same.’
