Unrequited Love- Chapter 8 Interlude
“I’m bored.” Zach said. They have been watching the traditional dances for the past 1 and a half hour.
“Well, I am too. However, the results are coming in half an hour… We should just stay around here. Besides, one of the juniors told me that group Waltz For You was scolded by Ms. Ang for playing basketball just now.” Jennifer replied.
“That’s good news! Ha-ha, I hope the judges cut off some of their marks!”
“However, our dance wasn’t perfect you know.”
“We did try our best though.”
Two voices joined the conversation. To their amazement, it was Cody and Cheryl. They seemed to have heard Zach and Jennifer talking to each other.
“So, I guess both of you guys are together then?” Cody said teasingly.
“Um…” Zach couldn’t think of anything to reply.
“We might be, but that is none of your business.” Jennifer replied angrily.
“Ha-ha, we were just teasing you guys. Don’t take it seriously.” Cheryl said.
“Then how about you guys? Are you guys in a relationship?” Zach asked the both of them. It seemed to be like revenge for him and Jennifer.
“No, I am willing to be in one, but I’m not very sure if Cheryl wants to be in one.” Cody replied.
“Oh, are you really sure now?”
“Positive. Hey, where did Jennifer and Cheryl go?”
Both of them looked around themselves. Jennifer and Cheryl were missing.
‘Now where would they go?’ Zach thought to himself.
‘I hope Cheryl is alright…’ Cody whispered to himself.

Back in the auditorium, the 5 judges were preparing the results for the auditions. They couldn’t seem to make up their decisions. Both teams were equally good.
