Unrequited Love- Chapter 5 Decisions
Zach’s party started at 2pm, but many came at 4pm. Only HJ, Cody, Andrew, Jennifer, Avienne, YH and Jazreel came at 2pm. While waiting for everyone to arrive, they played a card game called big two. Andrew’s luck was really good that day and won all the rounds except one. The winner of each round of big two could dare the loser with the most cards to do anything. Andrew was “bullying: them badly, by daring the losers to do all sorts of wacky things. Some included hugging someone of the opposite sex, dancing Latin with someone of the same sex, crawling on the floor like a turtle and so on. When Andrew lost a game, the winner- Cody chose to dare Andrew to do 100 push-ups. He must have felt really tired. It was definitely great fun.
At 4pm, everyone invited to the party came. Firstly, they played ping-pong. They played the “king” version of it which means everyone takes turns to defeat the King. To defeat the King, you will have to win three games in a row against the king. Then, you will become the King. ‘Ping-pong master’ Chung Han became the King very often.
After 2 hours of interesting ping-pong matches, they had a water fight. This time, the boys trashed the girls with water as there were more boys. The girls were soaking wet and made Zach’s house floor really wet too.
After a delicious dinner, they played “Ghost” again. This time, it was more fun because there were more people and Zach’s room was bigger than Jennifer’s room. At 9pm, all of Zach’s friends left except for HJ, Cody and Andrew because they were sleeping over at Zach’s house. When Jennifer was leaving, Zach followed her to her car. While walking there, they talked about the party too.
“Today was very fun Zach; hope you organize another party soon.” Jennifer said softly. She didn’t want them to be heard by their friends, as nobody knew about their relationship.
“Yeah, I will definitely organize another party, if you want me to, that is.” He replied jokingly. He always fulfilled any wish Jennifer wanted him to do.
“OK then. I love you forever.” Jennifer said and gave him a bear hug.
“I love you too.” He replied happily.
Zach reached forward to kiss her, but she pushed him away.
“Don’t rush it too soon.” She said teasingly.
“OK, I will wait for you then.” He said truthfully.
“By the way, did you know that on Children’s day and Graduation day we can perform a dance?
“Oh really, I heard the rumours about it, but I didn’t think it was true. Anyway, are you planning to organize a dance?”
“Yeah, I was. We could find some hip-hop dancers to dance Hip-hop, then we could find a few girls and boys to dance Latin.”
“Oh ok. If you need my help, just tell me. I will always be there for you.”
“Actually I want you to join in.”
“Are you serious?”
“Yeah! Could you do that for me, please?” She said while smiling.
“Whatever.” He said unhappily. He wasn’t too keen on doing it.
“Thanks! See you in school!” She replied and jogged off to her car.
She must be kidding me right? I hate dancing! No way am I going to be useful in it if I don’t like doing it at all. Zach thought.
What’s going to happen next?
